Developments regarding Christian Eriksen's future at Tottenham Hotspur has garnered a rather strange response from some supporters.
The Denmark international has just over 12 months left on his current deal, so this summer could potentially be Spurs' last chance to command a fee for the midfielder.
He spoke about his contract situation last month and described it as 'unnatural'.

"The Premier League clubs are starting very early to get players to sign new contracts," told B.T . "Therefore, my situation is unnatural.
"Two years is still a long time when you think of a football career, but in England it is normal to write a five-six-year agreement.
"That's why my situation is different.
"The speculation about my future does not affect me. I don't care about that completely.
"It's newspaper news. It has been running ever since, I was 14 years old and was in trial at Chelsea.
"There are newspapers that write it."
There have been many links with Eriksen and Real Madrid, but new reports have emerged overnight that he could sign a new contract with the north London outfit rather than making the move to Spain.
However, judging by the reaction on social media it would appear that not all Spurs fans are happy with this development.
