PlayStation Store will now REFUND pre-orders and games - but there's a catch

It’s something that gamers have been requesting for years, and now Sony has announced that it will finally refund preorders and games on the PlayStation store.

PlayStation said: “You can cancel a digital content purchase within 14 days from the date of purchase and receive a refund to your PSN wallet.”

However, there’s an important catch.

You won’t be refunded if you’ve started downloading or streaming the game.

PlayStation added: “Digital content that you have started downloading or streaming, and in-game consumables that have been delivered, are not eligible for a refund unless the content is faulty.”

To make sure you aren’t caught out, it might be wise to disable the Automatic Downloads feature in your system settings.
