PlayStation has revealed its lineup of Monthly Games for August 2026, giving subscribers three new titles to claim starting August 4.
According to the blog post from PlayStation, the batch spans a zombie-filled open world, a cooperative walking adventure, and a psychological survival horror game, with all three remaining playable through August 31.
'Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Reloaded Edition' (PS5, PS4)
"Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Reloaded Edition" leads the August lineup, available on both PS4 and PS5. The game puts players in the role of Aiden Caldwell, a wanderer navigating a hostile, post-apocalyptic city where rival factions clash while a virus has turned much of the population into monsters.
This Reloaded Edition includes the Firearms Update along with the Bloody Ties DLC, adding to a game that has continued receiving patches and updates since its original 2022 release, including a full spin-off title in "Dying Light: The Beast."
This edition is known for delivering "Dying Light 2" to the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, delivering the upgraded version adept for modern gaming platforms.
'Signalis' (PS4 Only)
Rounding out the more solo-focused offering, "Signalis" arrives exclusively for PS4. Players step into the role of Elster, a technician Replika searching for her lost partner across a surreal, retro-inspired world.
Developed by German studio rose-engine, the game blends psychological survival horror with puzzle solving as players uncover unsettling secrets and face nightmarish creatures throughout its melancholic, cosmic dread-filled setting.
Originally released in 2022, "Signalis" has built a strong reputation among survival horror fans in the years since.
'Big Walk' (PS5 Only)
"Big Walk" stands out as the most notable addition to August's lineup, since it arrives as a rare day-one release directly on PlayStation Plus.
Developed by House House, the Melbourne studio behind "Untitled Goose Game" and "Push Me Pull You," the game is a cooperative multiplayer adventure that sends players and up to 11 friends across a wide-open world filled with puzzles, tricky terrain, and plenty of things to discover together.
Players will need to communicate and work together to navigate the world, using a variety of tools to stay in contact with each other even when the game strips away typical dialogue options. There's no obligation to rush through anything either, since players are free to simply sit and watch a sunset or steal a friend's binoculars and toss them into the ocean.
Since "Big Walk" launches on the same day it joins PlayStation Plus, subscribers get to experience the game from day one without needing to purchase it separately.
'MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls' PlayStation Plus Pack
Alongside the three Monthly Games, Sony is also offering PlayStation Plus subscribers a free DLC pack tied to the upcoming release of "MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls."
Starting August 6, members can claim a bundle including five in-game avatars featuring Captain America, Storm, Spider-Man, Doctor Doom, and Ghost Rider, along with a set of exclusive character poses usable on the game's results screen.
The PlayStation Plus Pack for "MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls" remains available to claim through August 6, 2027, giving subscribers a full year to pick it up before it expires.
