Those hoping to get their hands on a PlayStation 5 can now do so with Very but not until after Christmas.
Shoppers who want to get one of Sony's hottest consoles of all time as a Christmas present will have to wait until after the big day.
That's because Very can't actually promise delivery of the console and bundles until December 31.
The online retailer went live on Tuesday morning (December 14) with a drop of the PlayStation 5 Digital console and bundles which included an additional DualSense wireless controller bundle and Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart bundle.
Shoppers were placed in an online queue shortly after 9am, and buyers were being encouraged to use the Very mobile app instead of the website for quicker loading times.
However, those who successfully got through the virtual queue and picked their bundle and stand-alone console were then told that delivery won't actually be made until December 31.
Sam Freeman tweeted his surprise:
"Delivery after Christmas."
While others were just desperate to get their hands on one.
Tracie T said: "Who would've thought getting a gift for your husband would be so difficult."
While Nathan Barnes tweeted: "Like being in a doctors waiting room silence and hoping you'll be called next."
It's not all bad news though, as EE, Currys and GAME are all offering customers the chance to buy a PlayStation 5 today (December 14).
