John Lewis is predicted to drop major PlayStation 5 stock in time for Christmas according to experts.
Gamers who have been following the sale trends of the Sony console are predicting that John Lewis will go live with a sale very soon.
The retailer's last launch of the PS5 came on October 20 when they held an online sale for both editions of the console, and customers were urged to use the mobile app for a better experience.
Twitter account, PS5 Stock UK, which was set up when the console first launched in the UK more than a year ago, has been following the trends of the gaming console closely.
They've racked up more than 200,000 followers for their correct predictions of online drops and sale dates for the PlayStation 5, and have successfully managed to help thousands of customers secure a console.
Now they have said that John Lewis expects to receive a Disc Edition of the PlayStation 5 soon.
Their tweet read: "John Lewis expects to receive a Disc Edition only shipment approximately around 21st December. As this is an approximate date, we may expect a John Lewis drop a few days before or after 21/12."
Therefore, John Lewis could go live with an online drop near to December 21 - if it's before that date then the console may just come in time for Christmas.
Earlier this week, Amazon UK, Argos and GAME, all had a sale of the PlayStation 5 and more retailers are expected to drop soon ahead of Black Friday.
In the UK, the console was made available to buy on November 19, 2020 and sold out instantly.
The PlayStation 5 comes in two forms - the PS5 console: £449.99 and the PS5 Digital Edition console: £359.99.
The only difference between the PS5 console and the PS5 Digital Edition console.
