PlayStation 5 Ireland stock update as Smyths works on restock for June

PS5 stock is due to arrive in Smyths Ireland this month of June – and from experience, you'll have to be quick.

Irish PS5 fans have been desperate to get their hands on the console since its launch in 2020, but retailers are struggling to keep up with demand.

Amazon released a huge PS5 restock last week but has now sold out.

However, there's talk of another huge wave on Amazon later this month.

So those who want to get their hands on Sony’s newest console have to stay eagle-eyed and plan for the next drop.

GameStop Ireland had a limited number of PS5 consoles and bundles for sale on May 25, which quickly sold out.

They are working to restock at the moment.

Various retailers also have messages on their websites:

(PA)
  • Argos: Sorry, PlayStation 5 is currently unavailable. We're working hard to make this available as soon as possible.
  • Currys PC World: The new PS5 has now sold out! We are working tirelessly to secure more stock. Please continue to check for more updates.
  • Smyths Toys: Out of Stock. Expected in stock: June 2021
  • Tesco: They have sold out of our PS5 consoles for now. The PS5 is currently not available
  • Gamestop: They are out of stock at the moment
  • Power City: They are currently out of stock

The Digital Edition costs (€399.99) and the Ultra HD Blu-ray disc drive €499.99 versions.
