PlayStation 5 console is being developed with 'special sauce', developers reveal

It’s been over three years since Sony released its last PlayStation console, and unsurprisingly, fans can’t wait to see what’s in store next.

Now, AMD, the firm developing the processor for the PlayStation 5 , has revealed that the console is being developed with ‘special sauce.’

Speaking to CNBC , Lisa Su, CEO at AMD, said: “What we have done with Sony is really architect something for their application, for their special sauce.

“It’s a great honour for us. We’re really excited about what the next generation PlayStation will do.”
