After months of anticipation, Sony finally unveiled its PlayStation 5 console last months.
The console features a black and white design, with a black middle section and white panels on either side.
It's lit by subtle blue lights, and features a combination of angular and rounded shapes.
Fans are torn over the design, with many questioning Sony’s choice of white for the main side panels.
Now, one designer has created a concept for a black edition, and it looks stunning.
LetsGoDigital has unveiled the design, created by designer Giuseppe Spinnelli, aka Snoreyn.
They explained: “Hardcore gamer Giuseppe Spinnelli, aka Snoreyn, believes that a black PlayStation 5 should not be missing.
“The master designer from Italy has therefore redesigned the PS5 shown by Sony in black.
“It goes without saying that Giuseppe has also made a fabulous video animation, which has been built entirely in style of the Sony video trailer.”
While Snoreyn’s design is simply a concept, Sony is likely to launch several limited edition versions of its new gaming consoles.
For example, Sony launched a bright red Spiderman Edition of the PlayStation 4 Pro, as well as a semi-transparent dark blue PS4 Pro Limited Edition.
Unfortunately, there’s still a bit of a wait before we finally see what Sony has in store for us.
The PlayStation 5 will go on sale in ‘Holiday 2020’.
