A playful young dog is looking for a new place to call home.
Animal welfare experts are appealing to find a new home for Magnus a two-year-old German Shepherd cross who is currently living at Dogs Trust West Calder Rehoming Centre.
They say he loves nothing more than being with people, getting lavished with attention or playing in the water.
A spokesperson for Dogs Trust said: “Magnus is very loving and super playful – his favourite game is playing fetch and catch with his ball.
“He would like owners who have owned similar breeds before, he can be strong on his lead and does not like other dogs, because of this he would need to walk in quiet or rural areas and to be the only pet in the home.
“Magnus loves to run around off his lead in his own secure garden where he can spend time with his family having lots of fun or learning new tricks.
“He is super friendly with people. He loves to be the centre of attention and will happily let you adore him for hours on end.
“He is very active and enjoys walking in the hills or investigating in the countryside.
“Magnus is house-trained, happy to be left alone for short periods of time and does enjoy going for adventures in the car.”
