Watford and Tottenham saw out a goalless draw at Vicarage Road in which Troy Deeney had a penalty effort saved in the final quarter.
The result means Watford remain unbeaten in seven games as they continue their remarkable revival under Nigel Pearson.
Tottenham, meanwhile, are without a league win since late December, with Jose Mourinho currently struggling to turn around his side's fortunes.
The closest the match came to seeing a goal was in the 70th minute, when Deeney's penalty was denied by Paulo Gazzaniga, and in injury time when the ball was cleared from the Watford goal line.
