Tottenham supporters loved what Moussa Sissoko did following Arsenal's shock defeat

Not content with merely turning his Tottenham Hotspur career around, Moussa Sissoko is now proving himself to be even more of a true fan favourite with every passing week.

Following on from Saturday's defeat to Manchester City in the Premier League, supporters needed some positive news, especially with their bitter rivals Arsenal in action against Crystal Palace at the Emirates.

The Gunners were expected to beat the Eagles. Unai Emery's side had won their last 10 games at the Emirates prior to the visit of the south Londoners.

Brighton and Chris Hughton handed major injury scare ahead of crucial Tottenham clash

However, to the delight of Spurs fans, the match did not stick to the script as Palace secured a shock 3-2 win, and Sissoko had the perfect reaction on his official Instagram account.

In 2016, the Frenchman left Newcastle United to join Tottenham, and became the club's record signing in the process.

He initially struggled under the pressure of his price tag only to become an integral figure in Mauricio Pochettino's side, winning a place in the hearts of supporters.

After spotting his activity on social media in the wake of Arsenal's loss, fans could not be happier.
