Playboy model Carmen Electra loses money on Hollywood Hills West villa

July 20--As tempting as it is to say this Playboy model lost her shirt, that could be overstating the case. But model-turned-actress-and-television-personality Carmen Electra has sold her house in Hollywood Hills West for $2.35 million -- some $335,000 less than she spent for it last year.

The gated Mediterranean villa, built in 1986, has an Old World charm with a rotunda entry, arched windows and a courtyard. The ambiance continues inside the 5,255-square-foot home, which has beamed ceilings, interior archways, wrought-iron railings and paver or wood floors. Generous windows take in mountain and canyon views.

Multiple levels of interior space include living, family, dining and breakfast rooms, a media/screening room, a billiard room and a gym. Including the master bedroom, which has vaulted ceilings and a sitting area, there are three bedrooms, three full bathrooms and two powder rooms.

Outdoors is a swimming pool and patio.

Electra, 43, has appeared in films such as "Lap Dance" (2014), "Meet the Spartans" (2008) and "Starsky Hutch" (2004). Electra will be in the upcoming movies "Book of Fire" and "Party Pieces."

She bought the property a year ago for $2.685 million.

Andrew Clark of Sotheby's International Realty was the listing agent. Adrienne Martz, David Parnes and James Harris of The Agency represented the buyer.
