Sony have released the official sales figures for PlayStation 2 and Microsoft and Nintendo may want to turn away now. European/PAL sales are numbered at 25.9 million, not far behind the US on 32.2 million. UK sales alone are over 6 million. Worldwide Sony has shipped over 74 million PlayStation 2 consoles. Is there anyone with even a slight interest in games who doesn't have one? Maybe the new slimline PS2 will mop up these last few refusniks.
