Play-off finals moved to accommodate fans inside stadiums

This season's Championship, League One and League Two play-off finals have been moved to accommodate fans inside grounds.

The Scottish Government is expected to confirm that crowds of up to 500 will be allowed in from May 17.

Airdrie are battling it out on Saturday and Tuesday to book their place in a Championship final on May 18 and 21, with the League One showdown on May 17 and 20, and League Two on May 18 and 23.

It is expected that the Premiership final - which might involve Hamilton Accies - should also be able to accommodate fans on May 20 and 24.

There is further news that football authorities can propose accommodating more than 500 fans at any given fixture, with the government deciding whether or not to grant the request.
