Play in a room FULL of confetti at new pop-up Nottingham attraction

Create a multicoloured tornado or confetti 'snow' angel at Nottingham's whimsical new pop-up attraction.

The Confetti Room, at intu Victoria Centre, is exactly how it sounds; a whole unit where families are encouraged to let loose with umbrellas, buckets on pulley systems, well-positioned fans and, of course, millions of pieces of the fluttery stuff.

The free interactive experience will be taking over the same empty store on the upper mall, opposite the Disney Store, as the shopping centre's last pop-up attraction, the Sticker Room, did earlier this year.

It will be open daily from 11am to 5pm, between August 5 and August 31.

Members of the intu Family Club will also be able to create a free short video of their Confetti Room experience to share with their friends and family at the Selfie Station, while non-members will get their own photo emailed directly to them.

Following on from the intu Sticker Room earlier this year, an entire unit on the upper mall of intu Victoria Centre (opposite the Disney Store) has been transformed into a confetti-filled fun zone for shoppers of all ages to enjoy. General manager of intu Victoria Centre, Nigel Wheatley, says: “Creating fun experiences where families can come together and enjoy a bit of playtime, is something we’re really passionate about at intu and that’s exactly what we had in mind with our latest launch.

“Our Sticker Room was such a hit with families over Easter and the Confetti Room is the chance to build on that success and bring families another opportunity to get creative and share quality fun time together.

“With the chance to make confetti ‘snow angels’ cover mum or dad in confetti using the pulleys or to be engulfed in a sea of multicolour, the new interactive event is the perfect place to go wild and get some great family snaps for social media at the same time.

“Time slots are available to book for free online for anyone that wants to guarantee a space and they are bound to fill up fast.”
