Platinum Jubilee concert - full list of performers as Sam Ryder added to line-up

The Platinum Party at the Palace is one of the main events of the Jubilee celebrations taking place over the four-day bank holiday in June.

The concert is set to take place on Saturday, June 4 and over 22,000 people will watch the show at Buckingham Palace live, while it will also be broadcast on BBC One.

The Jubilee concert will feature three stages and 3D projections across the face of the palace.

It’s been announced that Sam Ryder will be joining the line-up for the concert after coming second in Eurovision last week, the UK’s best result in 24 years.

But the two and half hour show will also feature performances from a range of other musicians. Here’s everything we know about the line-up so far.

The BBC has not yet announced the full line-up for the concert, but it is expected to next week.

However, many of the acts who will be performing have already been revealed.

Headliners appearing alongside Sam Ryder include Queen and Adam Lambert, Diana Ross, Sir Rod Stewart and Duran Duran.

Queen guitarist Brian May is returning 20 years after he famously played God Save the Queen from the roof of Buckingham Palace at the Queen’s Golden Jubilee.

May has hinted that he may surprise fans in an unexpected location once again, saying in a statement: "There was a moment when I wondered, after Buckingham Palace roof where can you go? Well… you will see!"

Sir Elton John will also be taking part in a pre-recorded performance, as he is currently on a European tour.

Other musicians expected to perform include:

  • Craig David
  • Ella Eyre
  • Elbow
  • Jax Jones
  • Celeste
  • Andrea Bocelli
  • Sigala
  • Nile Rogers
  • Alicia Keys
  • Hans Zimmer
  • Mabel

It’s not just musical performances that are happening either - film, TV and sports stars will also be taking part with appearances from Sir David Attenborough, Emma Raducanu, David Beckham, Stephen Fry and Dame Julie Andrews.
