Platform 18: Glasgow music festival confirms return for 2022

After its biggest festival yet, Platform 18 has confirmed its return for 2022.

This weekend, dance music royalty including the likes of Richie Hawtin, FJAAK, Ben Sims and Luke Slater played in front of hundreds under the atmospheric railway bridges on West Street, just a short walk from the banks of the River Clyde.

Platform 18 has in recent years showcased some of the world's best techno talent and this year's festival, the first to run over three days, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, was no different.

Just hours after the closing set, with revellers still blowing away the cobwebs after three days at the open-air rave, Platform 18 organisers have confirmed the popular dance festival will make its comeback next year.

The man behind the festival, Ivan Kutz, said: “That was a truly special weekend, big thank you to all the DJ’s and staff for all their efforts! 2022 here we come…”
