Plantyful: Glasgow's Merchant City set to welcome new plant-based bakery and vegan shop

A brand new plant-based bakery and vegan shop is set to open in the Merchant City.

Plantyful will soon welcome in customers in the heart of Glasgow at 3 Osborne Street, where they'll serve up the likes of organic fruit and veg, plant-based snacks and treats, coffee and an array of artisan baked goods.

Behind the new venture are the team behind the much-loved Zilch Vegan Deli at Norfolk Street in Tradeston, who have built a reputation over recent years for their fantastic plant-based sweet and savoury treats and award-winning vegan cheese offering.

Announcing the arrival of Plantyful on social media in recent days, the team say: "In case you haven’t heard the news, we’ve been working hard to bring a new vegan shop to Glasgow’s Merchant City and its name is Plantyful!

"Plantyful is everything we love about food with an in-house bakery, fresh organic fruit and vegetables, locally roasted coffee and quality provisions including chilled goods. All #vegan so no need to read labels."

"Opening date to be announced very soon! Follow us on Instagram @plantyfuluk"

We're delighted to hear their expanding into the Merchant City - we're sure Plantyful will be a hit with vegans and non-vegans too and can't wait to try it out!
