Plans unveiled to transform Pollokshields garage into snooker and pool hall

Plans have been put forward to transform a garage workshop in Glasgow's south side into a snooker and pool hall.

The proposals were put towards Glasgow City Council where they will be discussed by the local authority's planning committee.

Located on 24 Forth Street in Pollokshields, the application to transform the premises was put forward by ATW Chartered Architects.

Drawings submitted as part of the application show that the snooker hall would be designed over two levels and include 10 snooker and pool tables, with opening hours from midnight to 11pm.

Due to current coronavirus lockdown measures, snooker and pool halls are currently closed, with Scotland's route map out of lockdown stating they will be able to reopen in line with level 1 measures.

The application is currently pending consideration.
