Plans to convert west end corner shop into new cafe

Plans have been put forward to convert a west end corner shop into a new cafe.

Glasgow City Council are currently considering a proposal which would see the Premier Store at 1 Kirklee Road, which sits on the corner of Kirklee Terrace and Great Western Road, transformed into a food and drink venue.

Documents submitted to the council on behalf of Mr Billy McAneney state the intention for a: 'change of use from Class 1 licenced shop and off sales to Class 3 licenced cafe'.

The plans show the proposal for the cafe layout, as well as an outdoor seating area which would have space for at least six tables.

The proposals, under review by the city's planning department, can be viewed in full on the council website here.
