Plans submitted to hold three-day music event in Dun Laoghaire this June Bank Holiday

Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council has received a planning application for a series of concerts this summer.

The application was submitted on 28 February.

The request is for a series of concert events to be held on Friday 31 May, Saturday 1 June and Sunday 2 June at Dun Laoghaire Pier.

There's a family rave coming to Tramline this Summer and it looks absolutely class 

Each gig is expected to attract more than 5,000 people.

Publishing notice of the application on its website, the council said:

"Where a public event which comprises of an audience of 5,000 or more people, the organiser is required to obtain an Outdoor Events Licence from the Local Authority." 

If granted, it'll mark the second major music event in the South Dublin town this summer.

Dun Laoghaire Harbour will play host to Beatyard music festival this August bank holiday weekend.
