Plans submitted for Gartcosh housing development

Housing developers are seeking approval to build 107 homes on a site north of Johnston Road in Gartcosh.

Bellway Homes and Deuchny Properties have jointly applied to North Lanarkshire Council for permission for the next phase of the existing planned development, to construct properties on a vacant nine-hectare site.

The application notes that consultation with the planning department and a pre-application meeting have taken place prior to submission, with numerous additional documents also being included.

Full details of the application plus the comments facility are on North Lanarkshire Council's planning website, under the reference number 21/01459/MSC.
