Poundland plans to open at Nottingham's Riverside Retail Park

Plans have been revealed for a new store at the site of the former Outlet at a Nottingham retail park.

The popular clothes store at Riverside Retail Park closed earlier this year as it became one of 21 nationwide which shut its doors for good.

A spokesperson for Arcadia Group, which owns Outfit, confirmed the news to Nottinghamshire Live on Wednesday, January 20.

The group declined to comment any further on the closure.

Brands formerly available for shoppers at the Nottingham store included Dorothy Perkins, Topman, Topshop, Burton and Miss Selfridge.

Now, new signage at the store at Unit E of the retail park - which is currently vacant - has revealed a Poundland store will be opening there soon.

Nottinghamshire Live has approached Poundland for further comment.
