Plans put forward to transform warehouse in east end into gym and cafe

Plans have been submitted to turn an empty warehouse in the east end of Glasgow into a new gym and cafe.

Proposals were put forward to Glasgow City Council for the gym and cafe to be built within the warehouse on Carmyle Street.

Documents submitted to the planning committee detail plans to create the gym over three floors - including a basement section.

The ground floor would include the gym and cafe section of the building while the first floor mezzanine level would be used as office space.

Externally, the alterations would include new car parking, bike parking and ramp access.

To view the documents in full, which are now under consideration by planners, you can visit the Glasgow City Council website .
