Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman meets Vice Premier of the State Council of China Han Zheng in Beijing. (SPA)

An agreement was reached on Friday for the Chinese language to be taught at all levels in Saudi schools and universities, reported the Saudi Press Agency.

The plan aims to bolster cooperation ties between Saudi Arabia and China and deepen their strategic partnership in all fields.

The move will help bolster cultural diversity among students in the Kingdom in line with education goals of Saudi Vision 2030.

The deal was reached during the meeting held in Beijing between Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, and Vice Premier of the State Council of China Han Zheng. The two officials chaired the third round of the China-Saudi Arabia High-level Joint Committee.
