Plans for new drive-thru Costa Coffee at Hengrove Leisure Park

Plans have been revealed to build a drive-thru Costa Coffee at the entrance of Hengrove Leisure Park.

The leisure park located on the A4174, Hengrove Way, is already home to a KFC, Domino’s Pizza, McDonald’s a cinema and a Bingo hall.

Now plans have been submitted to Bristol City Council for a drive-thru Costa Coffee at the site.

The applicants have said it would be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Around 18 jobs could be created if the plans are given the go-ahead.

It would be located at the entrance to the park off Hengrove Way very close to the main road on a site which is currently grassland.

The coffee shop would include facilities for people wanting to drink-in, and there would be provision for 32 car parking spaces and two disabled spaces.

The planning documents read: “The simple and modern proposed Coffee Drive Thru would be in an ideal location situated on an existing leisure park with excellent transport links from Hengrove Way.”
