Plans for new Bramble cafe venue in Shawlands opposite Queen's Park

The owners of Giffnock's popular Bramble cafe are hoping to open a new venue in the south side of Glasgow.

Glasgow City Council are currently considering a proposal to convert a premises in Shawlands, at the listed 924 Pollokshaws Road, opposite Queen's Park.

If successful, Bramble would trade out of the former Cosgrove Care Shop on the junction of Pollokshaws Road and Springhill Gardens.

Plans include for both indoor and outdoor seating areas, with dark green signage projected onto both elevations.

Bramble's Giffnock venue specialises in beautiful brunches, coffee and baked goods.

And it's hoped - if council planners give a go ahead - Bramble can add to the burgeoning brunch scene in Shawlands.
