Cornwall is already a firm favourite with Brits for a summer staycation, but it looks like the coastal hotspot could be set to welcome even more visitors.
That's because plans have been revealed for a brand new £50million holiday park in Newquay, complete with heaps of accommodation, swimming pools, a leisure centre and restaurants.
According to Cornwall Live , developers Kingsley Developments (SW) Limited have submitted a request for pre-application advice to Cornwall Council for the huge holiday park, which could become one of the largest in the South West.
As part of the submission, they've also included artists' impressions of just what the new Bejowan Farm park would look like and it could be quite the hit with families.
What caught our attention is the huge swimming pool complex which, judging by the artwork, could feature three pools, two of which would include water slides and fun attractions for kids and adults to enjoy alike.

As for the accommodation? There's bound to be plenty of choice with 1,000 holiday lodges planned as part of the project.
It's worth noting that the company hasn't yet submitting planning application for the park to local authorities, although it's expected to take this step later this year.
