Glasgow's first French grocery shop could soon open with the arrival of Le French Stop in the city.
Owners are currently working to identify a location for the store, potentially in the west end or south side.
There, they'll be selling French groceries and cheeses, alongside coffees and pastries.
Le French Stop aims to provide EU citizens with a reminder of home while also introducing a number of French products to Glaswegians.
A crowdfunder has been set up to help the business import as many products from France as possible, with owners offering rewards to people who donate.
Cedric Phileas told Glasgow Live: "We plan to bring French groceries, cheese, saucisson and takeaway patisserie and coffees.
"Over the past year, it has been particularly difficult for EU citizens, like myself, who have not been able to visit home. We want to provide them with a sense of home in Glasgow.
"We also know that Scottish people also have a love for French products.
"We also have a crowdfunder running to help us to bring as many products as possible - we have offered various rewards for people who donate."
We love this idea and it's one we'll be keeping a close eye on in the coming weeks!
