Planning sought for new 16 site business park in Cookstown

A planning application has been launched for a new 16 site business park in Cookstown.

Local business Sperrin Trading Services is named as the applicant for the new business park on the Sandholes Road in the Co Tyrone town.

The business park would be located next to the company’s current premises on the outskirts of the town.

A pre-application notice has been issued to Mid Ulster District Council for the development, on the outskirts of the town.

The Sandholes Road area homes a number of significant industrial businesses, including CDE Global and Keystone, as well as Derryloran Industrial Estate and Kilcronagh Business Park.

The application lists provision for 16 business units, as well as access arrangements from the Sandholes Road, landscaping and car parking.
