Hannah Thomas, general manager at Planet Ice Bristol, said: “We are so pleased that we’re able to open our doors for public skating for half term.

"We know there are so many people looking forward to enjoying a skating session with us, and we’re really excited to be ready for the school holidays.”

Planet Ice Bristol recommends purchasing an Ice Card to receive brilliant discounts all year round on public skate and learn to skate courses - memberships can be purchased here.

Ice Cards are a good way to receive discounts at Planet Ice, giving a saving of £2.20 on every public session booked and Skate and Hockey Excellence courses at the facility are also discounted by £5 for Ice Card holders.

Bookings are now also live from November 20 onwards for birthday parties.

Birthday parties at Planet Ice offer the ultimate skating experience with both time on the ice with Party Hosts who’ll give attendees both an off-ice and on-ice induction.

After all the fun on the ice, a birthday party meal is then provided in birthday party rooms.

Packages are split into Standard and Premium parties, with Premium Parties including a free Skate or Hockey Excellence class for the birthday party child.

Hannah continues: “Thank you to everyone who’s already been in contact with us enquiring about our classes, birthday parties and public sessions.

"Our fit-out team have been working so hard to get the rink ready, and the fact that we’re opening for half term is brilliant.

"As well as booking for public sessions, we’re also now taking bookings for private hire too.”
