Plane with unusual message flies over Tour de Yorkshire finish line in Leeds

A plane carrying a unusual banner was seen flying over Leeds city centre this afternoon as crowds geared up for the Tour de Yorkshire 2019 finish.

The banner, reading "Jesus calls, will u follow" was spied above the finish line on the Headrow as thousands lined the streets outside Leeds Town Hall to wait for the cyclists to cross the finish line.

It is not clear who was behind the banner - but the crowds seemed more interested in watching the cycling race on the big screens than considering its religious message.
