A aeroplane towing a sign with a beautiful message could be spotted as it flew over Paisley today.
The small aircraft soared directly above the town with the large sign trailing behind.
Those out and about enjoying the sunshine would have been able to spot the sign - which read "You'll never walk alone, dad" - as it flew across the sky around 3pm this afternoon.
It is not known who the sign was for, but many people were touched by the tribute.
One resident said: "Saw a lovely message in the sky while out in my garden in Gallowhill."
Another added: "I spotted it after leaving the shops. What a touching tribute to someone."
