A plane was spotted flying in the sky over Merseyside with a touching banner message to a beloved grandad.
People in St Helens stopped to take pictures of the banner which is believed to be a tribute to a man called Ned.
Whereas others said they spotted the touching tribute as far as Skelmersdale.

Around 2.30pm on August 11, Sarah Dixbuy captured the message flying other Rainford.
The message, seen in part on the image, reads: "Grandad Ned, gone but never forgotten."
In the post to a local Facebook group, Sarah Dixbuy said: "What a lovely tribute to see over the village!"
Others commented on the tribute to 'Ned,' with other residents saying they spotted it earlier that day.
