Plane spotted flying message over Goodison Park for Everton fan

A family have given the best send off to an 88-year-old lifelong Blues fan.

On Tuesday morning at around 9.30am a plane flew over Goodison Park with a beautiful message for a loving dad.

A small crowd gathered by the stadium to see the plane fly over as the stadium stood empty.

The message read: "George Kelly

"A true Blue."

The poignant message flew in honour of Mr Kelly as his family gathered for his funeral today.

Mr Kelly's son, Colin, also said the plane would also be flying over Finch Farm.

The message could be seen clearly above the stadium as a bird flew alongside the special message.
