Mystery surrounds the flight path of a plane that appeared to be scouring part of Wales on Monday.
With few flights over Wales because of the coronavirus outbreak, the plane caught people's attention on Monday.
North Wales Live reported that the Beech 200T Super King Air plane was spotted zig-zagging across the Llyn Peninusla during the afternoon.
Questions were raised by locals as to what exactly the aircraft was up to while carrying out its flight over the region.
It is understood that the aircraft was carrying out an aerial survey, but the reason for the survey is not clear.
It flew across from Notinghamshire to North Wales on Monday and carried out its work over the area before returning back to base.
The aircraft then returned during the afternoon and began a flight pattern just off the North Wales coast.
The aircraft is listed online as being owned by Nottinghamshire-based Diamond Executive Aviation [DEA].
Photos of the plane show that it has a special "bubble" window embedded into the body of the aircraft - ideal for taking pictures of the ground.
On their website, they said: "DEA delivers custom airborne solutions using our specialised hardware, equipment and personnel, meeting our customers’ diverse needs."
Their services included offering flights for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance, aerial survey and specialist commercial air transport.
The company did not respond to a request for comment.
