If you've ever travelled on a plane, you'll know how close you are to the people next to you. Sometimes, it almost feels as if you can't even move your arm without brushing up to them, and if you've not got headphones in yourself, you can hear what's blaring through theirs.
Usually, it's a small price to pay for the lovely holiday you're about to have, but if the person next to you is particularly irritating, it can make the journey a whole lot less bearable - especially if they're snoring, fidgeting, or have a crying baby on their lap.
One man was left feeling so desperate during a flight that he had to hand a member of cabin crew a note begging for help as his neighbour's breath was "killing him."
A cabin crew member shared the post on Twitter, writing: "The smells you smell on planes is crazy. I'll never forget this note a man handed to me."
On the napkin, the passenger had desperately scribbled: "Could I have some ground coffee in a cup? My neighbour's breath [is] killing me."
Some were wondering why he'd requested the coffee in a cup, and someone confirmed: "Coffee grounds in a cup get rid of the smell."
People responded to the tweet, describing the man as "polite", despite the fact he was desperate for help.
One person wrote: "The polite desperation is sending meeeeeeee omg."
"The determination in the pen strokes", another joked, whilst someone else hilariously said: "Passed that s*** off like a hostage."
People also picked up on the fact there seemed to be a tear stain on the napkin, saying: "Is that a tear on the napkin?!", followed by a crying emoji.
A man said he recently had a similar experience on a plane too, commenting: "Poor guy. I had a similar experience recently. I thought it was common practice to wash before getting on a plane but apparently, it isn't!"
