Plane passenger's 'inconsiderate' act during flight sparks outrage among thousands

When on a plane, sitting in cramped quarters with people you don't know, there are certain etiquette rules that should be followed.

From not hogging the armrests to using headphones to watch movies and listen to music.

And if you don't abide by the etiquette then you can annoy and upset people very easily, as was shown after a snap from a plane was shared on social media.

A Twitter user named Anthony (@Antman0528) shared a picture of an anonymous woman sitting in the seat in front, her long dark hair draped over the top of the headrest, dangling all the way down the back to the other person's tray table.

Would this annoy you? (Twitter/@Antman0528)

Alongside the image, Anthony wrote: "Would this p**s you off?"

The tweet went viral and infuriated many, garnering over 28,000 likes and thousands of responses.

Numerous people agreed it would p**s them off, with one Twitter user saying: "I would quietly lower the tray, let her hair fall in and then close it up again. Yes. It would p**s me off and I’d tell her to keep it in her seat. If she gets p**sy, offer to cut it."

Another replied: "Completely inconsiderate and unnecessary. Saying this as a fellow long-hair haver."

A third wrote: "People are so self-absorbed and unaware of anybody else these days - beyond annoying."

But not everyone was bothered by the photo, someone else posted: "Lol nah. If I need the tray I’d just let her know I need to get under her hair for a sec. but why would I get mad? Flight over soon, on my merry way."
