A plane full of passengers made a bumpy landing in Denver.
United Airlines flight 2429, which was flying from Newark in New Jersey to the Colorado city, landed roughly due to a mechanical issue with the plane, according to the flight crew.
Nobody was injured in the incident, reports local media The Denver Channel.
It is not yet known what caused the Boeing 737-800 aircraft to make such a rough landing.
However, Twitter user Leland Starr shared a picture of the jet, which shows one of its engines resting on the tarmac, which might suggest there was a problem with the landing gear.
A United spokesperson told The Independent: “United flight 2429 from Newark, New Jersey to Denver experienced a mechanical issue upon landing.
“All customers were bussed to the terminal where our customer service teams assisted them.
“The aircraft has been taken out of service and is being inspected by our maintenance teams.”
It’s not the first time a plane has made a bumpy landing.
Last month, the nose gear of a Turkish Airlines plane collapsed when it crash-landed during strong winds.
Flight TK467 was flying from Istanbul to Odessa, Ukraine, when the incident occurred.
As the Boeing 737 jet was approaching the runway in heavy crosswinds, it had a rough landing and appeared to skid off the runway.
As a result of the hard landing, the nose gear of the plane, which includes the front wheels, collapsed.
