Plame sues White House trio over press leak

The CIA operative whose identity was leaked to reporters is suing vice president Dick Cheney, his former aide, Lewis "Scooter" Libby, and presidential adviser, Karl Rove. She accuses them of conspiring to destroy her career. Valerie Plame and her husband, Joseph Wilson, the former US ambassador to Niger, claim that all three men revealed Plame's CIA identity as revenge against Wilson for criticising the Bush administration's motives in Iraq.
