Conor Gregor v Donald Cerrone Dublin viewing party cancelled on advice from Gardai

A Dublin viewing party for Conor McGregor's fight with Donald Cerrone at UFC 246 has been cancelled on advice from Gardai.

The fight is the main event on the UFC 246 card and some McGregor fans not making the trip Stateside had planned to watch the action at a live event in Bluebell, Dublin.

Bluebell United Football Club had organised a late-night viewing party to accommodate fans

Entry to the venue, a free bar and finger food were all included in an €80 fee while four DJs were booked to play live at the west Dublin venue.

A statement from Bluebell United FC said: "We regret to inform you that the scheduled showing of the McGregor fight tomorrow night has been cancelled.

"In light of the recent incidents at late night events, the authorities have informed us to call this event off. We are sorry to all concerned. Promoters will be posting details for refunds in due course."

The 31-year-old Crumlin fighter's latest clash was announced in late-November and the number of Irish fans in Vegas this time around is down on previous fights.
