CHANDIGARH/MOHALI/PANCHKULA: On Sunday, out of 301 samples, no fresh Covid case was reported in Panchkula. Meanwhile, 18 tested positive and 34 patients were discharged in Chandigarh and 2 positive cases were logged in Mohali.
The positivity rate in Chandigarh was 2.02% while the active cases are 123. The confirmed cases are 99,056 including 1,182 deaths. The recovery count is 97,752.
According to the chief medical officer (CMO) Dr Mukta Kumar, so far, 48,278 cases have been reported in the district. Out of them, 47,812 have been cured and discharged from the civil hospital at Sector 6. Active cases in the district are 46.
In Mohali, of the 1,00,872 cases reported so far, 99,628 have been cured. There are 78 active cases. The district's toll tally is 1,167.
Meanwhile, 37 people were vaccinated on Sunday in Mohali. tnn
