PKC's soap and paper towels monitored

Perth and Kinross Council is delighted locals are following handwashing advice.

The local authority is also monitoring its soap and paper towel supplies.

Since the outbreak of COVID-19, residents have been encouraged to regularly wash their hands properly to help avoid spreading the disease.

Staff and pupils in Perth and Kinross schools have been heeding the advice.

A spokesperson for Perth and Kinross Council said: “The health and wellbeing of people in Perth and Kinross is of the utmost importance to us.

“We are following all public health guidance and advising our staff, pupils and residents to do the same.

“Obviously, this includes regular, thorough handwashing, and we regularly check our stocks of soap and other supplies.

“We are pleased to see that people are following official advice.

“It’s really easy for misinformation to spread, particularly on social media, so always check official government sources like nhsinform.scot for accurate information.“
