A major restaurant chain has suddenly closed down one of its Glasgow locations.
Pizza Hut has shut its venue on Argyle Street in the city centre, one of the restaurants on the famous Four Corners.
A sign on the eatery's window revealed the closure.
It read: "Closed. Last day of trade was August 23, 2025.
"We appreciate your custom over the years. Thank you, Glasgow. Sincerely, The Pizza Hut - Argyle Street Team."
Following the shuttering of the branch, the chain's nearest restaurants to Glasgow city centre are located at Glasgow Fort and Braehead Shopping Centre in Renfrew.

"We continue to have a strong presence in the area with a dine-in venue located a short drive away at Braehead Shopping Centre, where customers can continue to enjoy their favourite pizzas.”
