Pizza Hut in Newcastle enjoys bigger slice of the action with all-day delivery and collection service

With restaurants making plans for action as we face a further easing of lockdown in coming weeks, Pizza Hut is among those gearing up for the big moment by getting its kitchens properly up and running.

While the Newcastle branch at The Gate has been offering a delivery service during lockdown, it has launched a pre-order collection service on top of that and both deliveries and collections are available each day between noon and 10pm.

The move no doubt delights fans of the pizza and pasta chain who now can indulge in their favourites from its menu at home almost any time.

Pizza Hut has been the only outlet among The Gate's range of restaurants, bars and leisure outlets to have been open during lockdown for deliveries.

And its expanded opening for collections has been echoed by other Newcastle restaurants which also have decided that the time is right to rebuild business.

Last week 21 restaurant on the Quayside announced its decision to launch a collection service and Blackfriars started up both collections and deliveries.

Pizza Hut has strict social distancing and contactless measures in place for customers using its services. Those wanting to place an order should see here.
