A pizza lover claims he has received threats from a member of staff at a Domino’s store after complaining about cold food.
Tony Williams, 24, says he orders a cheeseburger pizza costing £18.99 from the Bradley Stoke branch every couple of weeks.
But Mr Williams, a carer, told Bristol Live he has been left feeling “angry, upset and scared” following phone calls he made to the store.
“It’s a battle between me and Domino’s,” said Mr Williams, adding: “When I ring up the store I keep getting threatened and called a liar.”
Domino’s spokesperson Rachel Townsend said the company wanted to apologise to Mr Williams for the cold food, adding they would offer him a refund and a voucher.
Mr Williams says he lives within walking distance of the Domino’s site at the Willow Brook Centre, from where he has been ordering pizza for more than a year.
“I’ve been ordering from Domino's for quite a while now and recently the pizzas have been cold and unappetising,” said Mr Williams.
The 24-year-old believes the issue first arose in late November or early December, with the first complaint being made on December 3, 2019.

“When I made my first complaint, that was when the trouble started,” said Mr Williams, who went on to outline the circumstances prompting him to take action.
Mr Williams said: “[The pizza] took a while to get to me and by the time it reached me it was cold and unappetising and there was something off about it. It made me feel sick.”
The manager of the store did not take kindly to the criticism, according to Mr Williams, who claims unsavoury comments have been made numerous times.
“He keeps saying I will never make a pizza for you again and if you come near this store you will be hurt,” said Mr Williams.

The most recent occasion Mr Williams ordered a pizza from the store was on January 14.
That disappointing experience proved to be the final straw for Mr Williams, who called Bristol Live shortly afterwards.
During that call, Mr Williams said: “I ordered a pizza about half an hour ago - I’ve eaten a few slices but one of the slices tastes off. I can’t really describe it - it’s just off.
“Something’s funny about it - it basically makes me feel sick. It’s as though they’ve deliberately put something on it or cooked it wrong because they know it’s for me.”
He added: “On rare occasions a pizza is hot and tasty but on most of the occasions it’s cold and unappealing and the reason I keep ordering is because I hope it will be hot and delicious all the time.”
Mr Williams said he had already emailed Domino’s customer service, telling them he would not return to the Bradley Stoke store until the management is changed.
In a statement produced on behalf of Domino’s, Ms Townsend said: “We endeavour to deliver all of our pizzas hot and ready to eat.
“Our customer clearly feels we did not reach our usual high standards and if that is the case we apologise.
“We are happy to refund him the money for his recent purchase and give him a voucher so he can continue to enjoy our pizzas in the future.”
