Pizza Express sets date 46 restaurants will reopen for diners - and releases full list

Pizza Express is reopening 46 of its restaurants for dine-in customers on Thursday, July 9.

But it's not stopping there, with 23 new locations also being added to the list of branches open for delivery and click-and-collect from Thursday, July 2.

Pizza Express managing director Zoe Bowley said: “Following a successful trial of delivery-only and click-and-collect services in 13 of our pizzerias in London, and the latest advice from the government, we are delighted to announce the first 46 of our pizzerias that will be reopening for dine-in customers from the beginning of July, and the extension of locations offering dine-out options."

But things will look a little different to how you remember them once you step inside.

Changes to help ensure customers and staff can operate safely include:

• A review of the menu
• Social distancing and heightened cleaning measures.
• Regular health checks for staff
• Hand sanitiser stations
• Digital menus
• Online payment

Ms Bowley said: “The extensive safety measures we have in place across all reopened pizzerias will allow us to provide the full Pizza Express experience that our customers have come to love, in a safe and responsible way, as we work to gradually bring back our freshly handmade pizza to even more locations in the near future.”
