Piyush Mishra, who is close to both Abhay Deol and Anurag Kashyap, recently opened up about the fallout between the actor and the director.
In an interview with a news portal, Piyush stated that it would be foolish to make a statement about the Kashyap-Deol fallout. The writer-actor said that he knows both Abhay and Kashyap very well. According to him, it can be difficult to understand Anurag but just putting out a statement against him would be unwise.
He went on to add that Abhay is a very organised person. According to him, the actor is very careful about his stardom and image. Something must have happened between the two while filming Dev D, Piyush told Mashable India.
It all started when Anurag told a news portal in an interview that Abhay displayed starry airs on the sets of Dev D and demanded better accommodation. Abhay too recently criticised Kashyap in an interview, describing the filmmaker as ‘manipulative’ and ‘toxic’.
Anurag has since apologised to Abhay Deol. The director also recently showered praise on his performance in recently released series 'Trial by Fire'.
