The Pittsburgh Steelers are known for a ferocious defense through generations of players and coaches.
Under Mike Tomlin, the Steelers are no different and when they took down Alex Smith on Monday, Pittsburgh equaled an NFL record for most consecutive games with a sack.
The sack of Smith was by Robert Spillane.
With that sack by @14rspillane, we have now recorded at least 1 sack in 6️⃣9️⃣ consecutive regular season games, which is tied for the longest streak in NFL history (Tampa Bay, 1999-2003). pic.twitter.com/NS4cKu6vJn

They share the mark with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and will look to take it on their own Sunday against the Buffalo Bills?
