What’s Going To Happen
This might be a wee more interesting than you might think.
Pitt is coming off the Pitt Special high from knocking off UCF, and it’s diving back into ACC play at Duke next week. In between is a dangerous Delaware team with a decent enough offense to keep up and put up a fight.
For a half.
The problem will be on the lines. The Blue Hens don’t get into the backfield, they don’t do enough against the run, and they don’t keep decent defenses from getting behind the line.
The Panther defensive front is fantastic at getting to the quarterback – expect at least six sacks – and expect an efficient and effective day from a Pitt offense that’s been struggling so far.
Again, give it about a half, and then the Panthers will wake up and take over.
